Thousand Steps Beach 1000 Steps Beach is a long sandy beach Perfect for sunning, volleyball, and skimboarding in South Laguna Beach!
There’s not quite 1000 steps down the beach access staircase to Thousand Steps Beach, (its actually just under 230 - or about 12 flights) but there are enough steps to get you breathing hard on the way back up! |
It's common to find locals swimming, tidepooling, snorkeling, diving, skimboarding and playing volleyball on this beautiful beach. And did we mention- there's a really cool CAVE at the southern end of the beach?!? |

Rumor has it that there's some great diving (snorkeling and scuba) in the reefs on both sides of the beach, but I have yet to carry gear down the steps to find out. If you decide to go exploring, most locals recommend the reef toward the right- send me a message and let me know what you think!
